Wryst was founded in 2012 by designer Jacques Fournier, who had previous design experience with a private label watch design studio in Le Locle, Switzerland. The brand maintains an emphasis on affordable Swiss watchmaking with motorsport styling.
Official Timing Partner of the Isle of Man TT
A two-year Official Timing partnership between Wryst and the Isle of Man TT was announced in April of 2015. The partnership continued through the 2017 and 2018 events, with Wryst also signing on as the Official Timing Partner of the Classic TT in 2017.
During this time, the Wryst Isle of Man TT special edition chronograph was announced for pre-sale in 2017 before its release in the following year. the Isle of Man TT logo features below the date window, with the Three Legs of Mann appearing on both the 9 o’clock subdial and case back.
According to the company website, the partnership concluded in March of 2019.
