TW Steel was founded in 2005 by Ton and Jordy Cobelens, a father and son team from the Netherlands. With previous experience as a distributor for Raymond Weil and Maurice Lacroix in the 1980s, Ton has also designed private label watches. He has also owned a marketing company, through which he has also worked with the Swatch Group.
Official Watch Partner of the Isle of Man TT
On May 21, 2025, TW Steel was announced as the Official Watch Partner of the Isle of Man TT. Shortly after, the Volante TT IOM (ref. VS128) and Vanceur Sport Isle of Man TT edition were announced. Both models were made available for sale on the Isle of Man TT Official Merchandise Shop.
